For me, art is more than colour on canvas\u2014it is a way of experiencing life. When words fall short, colour becomes my voice; each stroke carries an emotion, a memory, a moment.\n\nTravel has shaped the way I see. Across different landscapes and cultures, I am drawn to shifting light, the rhythms of nature and the stories found in everyday life. These encounters become part of my visual language, where colour, movement and emotion come together.\n\nIn a world that can often feel uncertain, I want my work to offer a sense of light\u2014of beauty, connection, hope and possibility.\n\nMy creative process often begins with music and emotion. I allow colour to move instinctively, letting each painting find its own rhythm and direction.\n\nThrough my art, I invite you not simply to look, but to feel\u2014to pause, connect and perhaps discover something of your own within the work.\n\nWhere colour becomes a language<\/i><\/b>.\n\n

Susanna Wong<\/strong> [\u5341\u4e09\u59b9] is a Singaporean contemporary artist whose practice is shaped by travel, nature and human experience. A graduate of the University of Leicester in 1997, her artistic perspective is informed by a lifelong curiosity about people, places and the world around her.<\/p>\n

Working through colour, movement and emotion, Susanna transforms memories and encounters into expressive visual narratives. Inspired by her travels across Asia, Europe and North America, her work explores themes of freedom, hope, connection and the natural world.  In AERIAL | STATES, birds become metaphors for human emotions and aspirations, while CHROMATIC | CODE reflects on the beauty and fragility of nature with colors, movement and emotion.<\/p>\n

Since 2019, Susanna\u2019s work has been exhibited internationally across Asia, Europe and beyond. Her recognitions include the Olympus Arts Awards (Italy, 2026), Special Jury Prize (Italy, 2025), International Prize (France, 2025), Silver Award (Iran, 2024), and Merit Award (Malaysia, 2020).<\/p>\n
