I love art because it is more than color on canvas\u2014it is life itself, alive with emotion and untold stories. When words failed me, color became my voice: each hue a heartbeat, each stroke a quiet truth.

\n\nTraveling across continents taught me how light shifts, landscapes speak, and cultures breathe through form and color. Nature and human experience gradually intertwined in my work, turning appreciation into devotion.

\n\nIn a world often shadowed by despair, my art seeks to be a gentle beam of light, reminding us of beauty, connection, hope and the enduring power of creativity.

ARTIST STATEMENT<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in Hong Kong, Susanna relocated to Singapore after graduating from the University of Leicester in 1997.\u00a0 Also known as [\u5341\u4e09\u59b9], she believes art is the essence of life\u2014a universal language that conveys emotions, ideas, and stories beyond words.\u00a0<\/p>

An avid traveler across Asia, Europe, and North America, Susanna draws deep inspiration from diverse cultures, local art traditions, and natural landscapes. Her work often transforms elements of nature and the human experience into evocative visual narratives. In her series \u201cI Believe I Can Fly\u201d, birds symbolize love, hope, and aspiration through vivid colors and fluid movement, while \u201cLove That Nature\u201d expresses both admiration and concern for the fragile beauty of the natural world.\u00a0<\/p>

Since 2019, Susanna\u2019s works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Argentina, Armenia, Cambodia, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkiye and the United States. In 2023, she held first solo exhibition at the Penang Art Expo in Malaysia.<\/p>

Susanna\u2019s works are known for their quiet simplicity, inviting reflection rather than explanation. As she shares, \u201cColor is my voice. It flows naturally from my heart, carrying emotions and stories I cannot speak aloud. Through these dancing colors and movements, I share my energy and passion, and in return, viewers bring their own into the dialogue that they will feel a moment of joy, love and hope.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
